Week 5: Robstown v. OG

The Orange Grove Bulldogs lost a tough game to the Robstown Cotton Pickers last Friday night. The ‘Dogs did have a few bright spots on the evening though, and here are this week’s plays and players for week five. ~Coach Hall

Offensive Lineman For the second week in a row, the honor goes to Junior Quick Tackle Roy Aguilar. His solid play up front was a commendable, but his hustle downfield and willingness to “get on the ground” to make good plays better was the reason for his being named again this week.		Defensive Back Senior cornerback, Trey Porras gets this week’s vote for this interception.
Defensive Lineman Junior tackle Bryce Osborne gets back on the board this week. He led the D-Line with ten tackles on the night including this big tackle for a loss.		Offensive Back Again this week’s offensive back is Senior, Cody Gomez. Though Cody didn’t find the end zone this week, he was once again the leading rusher, and his blocks were key to others' runs and scores. Here is his fake punt run early in the game and a nice one around the end.
Special Teams Senior deep snapper, Maroni Berrios’ hustle down field was rewarded with this fumble recovery that set up the Bulldog’s second touchdown.	Good Job, Bulldogs!
