The O.G. Bulldogs had a hard
time getting their offense going against district rival Mathis last
Friday night. The Bulldogs lost the contest, but the night did have some
excellent performances turned in. ~Coach Hall

Offensive Lineman
Senior J.J. Galvan was a force
on the strong side Friday night. What success the Bulldogs had on offense
was attributed in large part to his effort.

Punt
Team

Special
Teams Player
The
Punt Team averaged 37 yards per punt and
didn’t allow a return of over nine yards on the whole evening.

Defensive Lineman
Maroni Berrios is another senior who turned in his best
performance of the season in his last home game. He led the D-line with 12
tackles and at times seemed all over the field.

Offensive
Back
No Bulldog runners
stood out Friday night with flashy runs or big scores, but Senior Halfback
Cody Gomez showed why he has won this honor
so much this year. Here are two examples of his fine blocking as well as
one of his patented runs.

Defensive Back
Senior
linebacker Jesse Salas has been a solid
leader all season, but his team leading 17 tackles stymied the Mathis
offense for most of the game and was arguably his best performance to
date. |

Good Luck, Bulldogs! |
